Workshops, Author Visits & Thoughtful Conversations

Looking for an author speaker, a creative-wellness workshop, or a thoughtful conversation for your community?

I’m Liz Bullard, a multi-genre author, licensed therapist, and creative wellness coach based in Connecticut. I partner with libraries, schools, book clubs, creative communities, workplaces, and organizations to create warm, practical events around storytelling, creativity, resilience, and the next small step forward.

For workshops: expect practical reflection, guided prompts, and one useful next step. Events are educational and reflective, not therapy or a substitute for mental health care.

Choose the Event That Fits Your Community

Whether you need a focused talk, an interactive workshop, or a book-centered conversation, we can choose a format that fits your audience, goals, and schedule.

Custom Workshops

A workshop shaped around your audience, goals, schedule, and setting. We can adapt a signature topic or create a focused session around the conversation your community needs most.

Best for: groups looking for a tailored, interactive experience.

Signature Talks & Workshops

Choose from established topics on creativity, resilience, storytelling, author life, and sustainable creative practices. Available as a focused talk, interactive workshop, panel contribution, or retreat session.

Best for: organizers who want a ready-to-book topic with room for light tailoring.

Author Visits & Book Conversations

Invite me for a reading, Q&A, book-club visit, classroom conversation, panel, or discussion connected to my fiction, nonfiction, writing life, and the themes that shape my work.

Best for: libraries, schools, book clubs, reading communities, and literary events.

What Participants Can Expect

Expect thoughtful conversation, practical reflection, and room to ask questions and share ideas. Participants leave with one useful next step they can carry into their reading, writing, work, or creative practice.

Workshops may include guided prompts, simple take-home practices, and time for individual or group reflection.

About My Creative-Wellness Perspective

I’m Liz Bullard, a multi-genre author, licensed therapist, and creative wellness coach based in Connecticut.

My path into writing began with a simple question about self-care during the pandemic. Daily writing became stories, and those stories grew into a larger body of work centered on resilience, creativity, and the inner lives we bring to the page and to everyday life.

Through my books, coaching, podcast, and community conversations, I help people make space for creativity in real life. My approach is warm, practical, and grounded in the belief that small steps can help us move from stuck to started.

I bring that same perspective to each event: room for honest reflection, useful ideas, and meaningful conversation.

Relevant and Engaging

Liz provided a timely and relevant engaging session for our education team.

Beyond helpful

I have a better idea of what I want to focus on this year and things I will focus on after a few more books.
